Don’t let
anyone think less of you because you are YOUNG. Be an example to all believers
in what you teach,
and the way you live, in your love, your faith, in your
purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
The teenage years can be challenging to
navigate, both for students and their parents. At Central Presbyterian
Church, our students are a vital part of the life of the church. Here, we
provide a special place for our youth: a place to believe; a place to belong:
and a place to become all that God wants them to be.
Central's Youth
Ministry goal is to:
REACH middle and high school students with the good news
of Jesus Christ
CONNECT them with other Christians, to lead them to
GROW in their faith, and to challenge their growth so they actively
LOVE and SERVE God with their whole lives.

Confirmation class for
7th graders
Confirmation is the time in a student's life when he or she has the
opportunity to claim the faith that someone first introduced to them. For many
of us, its a chance to make the vows for ourselves that our parents made on
our behalf when we were very young. As students come to a point of professing
faith in Jesus Christ, they can become full members of the church family.
Traditionally offered for the 7th grade student, Confirmation is open to any
student in Middle or Senior High.
We are always
interested in having our parents volunteer their time and talent with our
youth programs. Please contact Reverend Deb Trimpe debtrimpe@bellsouth.net
