The desire of Central's children's ministry is to assist parents in teaching their children who Jesus is, to grow up in the knowledge of Him, and ultimately be transformed in His image.  We provide fun, Christ-centered activities and opportunities for children age three through 5th grade.


INFANTS and TODDLERS -- NURSERY CARE:

The Nursery is open during both services, from 8:40 am to 12:15 pm.  Caring staff is available fifteen minutes before the start of each service to receive your child in time for you to worship.  Your child will be cared for by staff and  volunteers who are committed to building relationships through play. Our focus is on caring for your children, so that parents may worship, serve and/or learn. Vibrating pagers are provided to parents with children in the nursery so we may contact you if your child needs you.

9:40 am to 10:40 am for children age three years old through fifth grade.  Classrooms are located upstairs.

Sunday Morning Worship

We encourage children to join their parents at the beginning of worship service and later in the service will be dismissed for Kidz Praise.  Kidz Praise is an active Kid-style worship experience that allows children to worship and praise God on their level. Parents may pick their children up following worship.

At the 8:40 am worship service children ages 3 years through 5th grade will be dismissed after the offertory and will meet in the nursery wing classroom.  They will enjoy a Bible story and craft.  

At the 11 am worship service the children will be dismissed at the conclusion of "Time for Children".  Our 4 year old through 1st grade will meet in the nursery wing classroom and will enjoy a Bible Story and craft.  Our 2nd through 5th grade children will  meet in room 100 (classroom off of the gathering area).


Wednesday Evenings

Kidz Club is our mid-week children's program.  It is held each Wednesday evening at 6:15 pm following our Wednesday night dinner for children 4 years old  through 5th grade.  The evening involves bible memory, crafts, games, singing and service projects.

Third Grade Bible Presentation - Each fall we present Bibles to our third grade students.

4th Graders Hymnal Presentation - personalized Hymnals are presented to our 4th graders during the month of March.


Worship/Communion Class - A four week session that is offered each fall  to our 2nd and 3rd grade students.  Children in higher grades are welcome to participate.


Children's Music

Music is offered during Sunday School and on Wednesday evenings.  Children are given the opportunity to worship God through singing in our age appropriate choirs.  The children performs in worship services periodically throughout the year.  They also perform a Christmas Musical in December.
